This may be due to the effect that it has on the target audience and that their attention is more drawn to the images rather than the text. This article doesn’t demand any prior knowledge to the band or what the article is about because it explains almost everything you need to know. As a first time reader of this magazine and my little knowledge of the band, I found out almost everything I needed to know to red this article from the first paragraph which explained who the band was and what they did. For example ‘The band have been busy, since the release of their second album Suicide Season in September 2008’. It then goes on into more depth about the album and the band.
